We are thrilled to announce the addition of our Employee Resource Center to the Knowledge Center. At Truvelop, we do a lot of work supporting and guiding our Managers. Most of our resources are Manager facing and have been aids in “training the trainer.” However, real, long-lasting performance change has to come from the employee. A Manager can be doing all of the right things and sharing constant support and encouragement to their Team Members, but the Team Members need to have the ability to take their development into their own hands. From this idea, our Employee Resource Center was born.
In the Employee Resource Center, Team Members now have access to an employee facing What Now, What Next? These pages share insight into how the Team Member is performing and what they can be doing to take themselves to that next level. Each page has suggested conversations to have with their Manager and offers several points of reflection so that the Team Member can come prepared to be an active participant in their development.
The Employee Resource Center also has a section on Optimizing Truvelop, where they can learn about Best Practices in the app, how to build their motivation and engagement, and how they can use Truvelop to set and achieve goals.
- Best Practices: Performance development is a journey, and Truvelop can help with each step along the way. Whether it is a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly touchpoint, Truvelop can help to document and measure growth with employee performance tracking tools to keep everyone on the same page, and encourage continuous development.
- Building Motivation and Engagement: Motivation fluctuates and that’s okay! It is completely normal and to be expected. However, if we can expand the tank that we pull our motivation from, we are less likely to become burnt out. For this reason, it is essential that Team Members understand what they can be doing to create a positive environment and build up their motivation.
- Goal-Setting in Truvelop: Anyone can set a goal, but far fewer people end up achieving those goals. Goal-setting needs to be agile and reviewed regularly. With Truvelop, in the moment adjustments to goals can be made with ease, helping Team Members stay on track and meet their checkpoints.
The last piece that we included in the Employee Resource Center are a variety of video guides. Understanding why and how to use the app are obviously important, and we know that our Managers are busy! They won’t always have time to walk their new team members through how to send a Spark or how to complete a survey. With these videos, the pressure is taken off the Manager and now the Team Members can seek out their answers in their own time, as their questions come up.
