Empower Yourself with Data

August 15, 2023

At Truvelop, we know that change isn’t just manager-driven. Employees have the ability to drive their own experience and create an environment that inspires growth and engagement. That’s why Truvelop sends out monthly Truvelop Tips directly to the employees of each of our clients. Here’s an excerpt from August’s Employee Truvelop Tip: Empower Yourself with Data.

In order to feel like you have autonomy over your development, it’s important to know where you stand today and what you can do to improve. Your managers should be sending you Sparks consistently and having regular performance check-ins with you to align on what’s working well and what can be improved. When you enter these performance check-ins, do you feel like you’re an active participant?

Truvelop Tip: Empower Yourself with Data

When you know where you stand and what you want to achieve, you can enter a performance check-in with your manager with a clear agenda. By equipping yourself with relevant data, you can lead the check-in and achieve your goals. Did you know that in addition to the Evaluation Summary, there are additional resources you can leverage? By clicking on the lightbulbs in My Dashboard, you can access additional learning resources to empower you to be an active participant and leader in your own development.

In What Now, What Next?, you have access to a deeper analysis in what it means to be the type of performer you currently are. There are reflection questions to help you organize your thoughts and conversation starters to help you map out your check-in. By identifying your next steps, you can lead a meaningful and productive check-in with your manager that helps you to further your growth and development.

You have the ability to create the best possible employee experience! It all starts with knowing where you stand today and what you want to achieve going forward. Are you ready for your next check-in?
